iPhone Users Can Rejoice for the 2017 Nissan Maxima will have Apple CarPlay

Apple CarPlay

2016 Nissan Maxima

Nissan has extended their range for which phones can connect to their newest Nissan Maxima.  For the 2017 Nissan Maxima, Nissan will be including Apple CarPlay!  We can’t tell you how excited we are for this here at 171 Nissan!

For those of you who don’t know, Apple CarPlay basically turns your car into an iPhone.  All the cool things you can ask of Siri (be sure to ask what Zero divided by Zero is) can now be done while you are driving your vehicle, in a way that keeps you and other drivers on the road safe.  Just like your iPhone, when your car features Apple Carplay, you can talk to Siri using voice commands, which keeps your eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel.

Currently, many other automakers already include Apple Car Play in their vehicles, including Ford, GM, Honda, and Mitsubishi.  Now adding to this list will be Nissan with its integration into the new 2017 Nissan Maxima.   The best part about Nissan including this new technology, it’s doesn’t hike up the price like it might with other carmakers!  The price difference between the 2016 and 2017 is no more than $50 for any trim level!  That’s less than buying a new iPhone!

As you can tell, we are pumped about the latest addition to the Nissan Maxima and can’t wait to try out this new feature at our dealership!  Be sure to stop by and check out the technology yourself and see how cool and easy it can be!

New 2016 Maxima Design Unveiled in New York

Nissan Maxima

Maxima fans couldn’t get enough of the new 2016 model, which recently premiered at the New York International Auto Show. The new model features a host of new options, including a 300 horsepower engine, 4-door design, and an affordable price.

The 2016 Maxima design has been completely redone, featuring a wide range of engineering and styling upgrades. According to Nissan, the Maxima has a V-Motion front end, signature lights, unique C-pillars, and a “floating roof” appearance. Best of all, the interior design was made with luxury in mind.

“This all new model was designed and engineered here in America…and will build on the Maxima’s standing as the longest-running and most recognizable nameplate in Nissan’s lineup,” said Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan. He goes on to say that, “the new Maxima is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before”

Aside from style, the 2016 model has a 3.5-liter V6 which cranks out over 300 horsepower and gets 30 mpg highway. NissanConnect and Advanced Drive Assist also come standard, allowing drivers to stay safe and always connected. We are anxiously awaiting their arrival here at 171 Nissan!
